Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Detroit seeks an Area Sales Leader for Monarch Urology to drive commercialization in MI, IN, and northern OH. You will lead quarterly business plans, build territory strategies, and develop relationships with physicians and economic buyers.

You will coordinate demonstrations, discuss value propositions, and guide post-sale installation and adoption with Clinical Representatives and partners, ensuring long‑term utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years healthcare/medical device sales; 4+ years for senior placement.
• 2+ years capital equipment or complex medical sales preferred.
• Ability to translate technical product info to physicians and buyers.
• Strong forecasting, planning and account strategy skills.
• Experience in urology/robotics preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quarterly plans for capital system sales and disposables.
• Build strategic territory plans with funnel management and forecasting.
• Engage physicians, nurses, and economic buyers to uncover needs and funding.
• Lead product, clinical and technical discussions for Monarch Urology.
• Present value propositions and shape pricing and terms with leadership.
• Coordinate post-sale installation readiness, training and adoption.
• Support customers in achieving clinical, operational, and economic goals.
• Collaborate with regional directors on education and utilization growth.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Monarch Urology and related workflows.
• Operate in full compliance with policies and quality requirements.
