Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to act as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to ensure adherence and minimize therapy gaps. You will arrange refills, new prescriptions, and appointments, and coordinate MTM interventions with internal and external partners to support members’ treatment plans.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and be nationally certified or licensed as Pharmacy Technicians. Bilingual skills and a MTM certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication lists to improve adherence and eliminate barriers to therapy as the member's Pharmacy Navigator.
• Facilitates refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and access to medications, minimizing pharmacy visits where possible.
• Coordinates MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and other partners within the broader healthcare management services.
• Monitors member medication adherence by coordinating with community pharmacies and other providers.
• Performs patient health assessments to collect medication profiles and identify barriers to adherence.
