Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to act as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists, coordinating refills, and supporting MTM interventions to improve adherence.

The role partners with pharmacists and community providers to ensure safe, effective medication use, while communicating with patients and care teams. A high school diploma or GED, plus national certification (PTCB/NHA) or licensed technician, are required. Bilingual skills and MTM certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication and related issues.
• Written and verbal communication that is clear, concise, and professional.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB, NHA) or licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and reduce barriers to therapy.
• Arrange refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access for medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and partners.
• Collaborate with community pharmacies to monitor patient adherence.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone or in person as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
