Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists and coordinating MTM interventions to improve adherence and outcomes. You will facilitate refills, new prescriptions, and appointments while working with pharmacists and external partners.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed, and can communicate effectively with patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) or licensed technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and minimize therapy gaps as a Pharmacy Navigator.
• Facilitate refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and external partners.
• Monitor member adherence by communicating with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications via telephone (in person when needed).
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
