Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to review medication lists, coordinate MTM interventions, and support members in accessing prescribed therapies. You will work with pharmacists and external partners to improve adherence and reduce barriers to care.

The role involves coordinating refills, communicating with members and providers, and performing health assessments to identify medication-related challenges. Strong communication skills and a valid technician certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to optimize adherence and act as Pharmacy Navigator.
• Facilitate refills and new prescriptions; assist with appointments and access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and partners.
• Monitor and communicate member adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone (in-person when needed).
• Additional duties as assigned.
