Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists, supporting adherence, and coordinating MTM interventions with clinicians and external partners. The role requires strong communication skills and a current PTCB/NHA certification or state license.

Responsibilities include helping members access refills and appointments, documenting care, and partnering with community pharmacies to ensure adherence.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
Certified or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing (PTCB/NHA) or registered/licensed.

Responsibilities

Review medication lists to remove barriers and support adherence as Pharmacy Navigator.
Assist members with refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access to medications.
Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and external partners.
Monitor member adherence and communicate with community pharmacies.
Collect patient med history to identify barriers to adherence.
Handle member and provider communications by phone (in person in some cases).
Perform additional duties as needed.
