Westmont Living is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to support residents in a senior living community. The role requires handling medication setup, assisting with administration, and meticulous MAR documentation under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screen (e.g., TB, drug test).
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work at least one weekend day.

Responsabilités

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents with the Medication Program and self-administration.
• Set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or RN and RSD.
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance; ensure MARs have no blanks.
• Document reasons for PRN medication and effectiveness on MARs.
• Comply with policy and state requirements for medication documentation.

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self- administration of their medications
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements:
  • Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance
  • Leaves no blanks on MARs
  • Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day.
