Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to join our team at Lakeview Senior Living in Lincoln City, Oregon. You will assist residents with medications, perform medication set-up, and coordinate with RNs to ensure safe administration.

This role emphasizes meticulous MAR documentation, adherence to policies, and ongoing training. We offer competitive pay, daily pay options, meals, and full benefits after the probation period, along with 401K and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Medication setup and resident assistance under supervision.
• Record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and RN/RSD.
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after dosing.
• Must pass criminal background clearance prior to starting.
• Must pass health screens including TB and drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid certification or obtain within 30 days.

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:
  • Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance
  • Leaves no blanks on MARs
  • Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
