Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Lincoln City, Oregon is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to support our residents in medication setup and administration within a nurturing memory care environment.

You will record MARs, follow physician orders, and collaborate with the RN and care team. A post-offer health screening, background check, and drug test are required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with self-administration as directed by RN and physicians.

• Set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance; leaves no blanks on MARs.

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:
• Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance
• Leaves no blanks on MARs
• Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
