Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. invites compassionate Med Techs to join The Oaks at Paso Robles, an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will assist residents with medications, document MARs, and coordinate with RNs to ensure safe self-administration.

Qualifications

• Must pass health screenings including Physical, TB, and drug test.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications.
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance
• Leaves no blanks on MARs
• Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

What we need from you:
