Position Summary

Fully Remote ANYWHERE within the continental U.S.

Training hours: 9 - 5:30 EST or CST

Work hours after training: 10 - 6:30 pm EST

The WorkLife Consultant (WLC) is part of the WorkLife Team and provides education about community resources, needs assessments, and referrals to a variety of customers for needs including childcare, elder/adult care, and basic/everyday needs. The WLC offers consultation and informational services to members and plan sponsors, primarily addressing emergency financial, housing, childcare, elder/adult care, and health-related needs.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Assess resource needs, propose options, and research/screen community service providers to meet those needs.
2. Provide resource referrals and educate individuals on how to utilize resources for various life and work situations.
3. Document member interactions and research/case outcomes in the system.
4. Work in an inbound and outbound call center environment, completing calls and research as needed.
5. Handle administrative or customer service calls as required.
6. Participate in staffing an online chat platform based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience educating individuals/families on community resources and referring to these resources.
• At least 1 year of experience working with elderly or adults with disabilities, including needs assessments and referrals.
• At least 1 year of experience in social work, social services, case management, or related fields.
• Experience conducting resource needs assessments (e.g., eldercare, housing, childcare).
• Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 25mbps/3mbps), hardwired into your modem, not Wi-Fi.

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish speaking
• Experience in a call center environment
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related health/social services field required.
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred.

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Time type: Full time

Pay range: $21.10 - $44.99/hour, depending on experience, education, and location. Position eligible for bonuses or incentives.
