Position Summary

Fully Remote ANYWHERE within the continental U.S.

Training hours: 9 - 5:30 EST or CST

Work hours after training: 10 - 6:30 pm EST

The WorkLife Consultant (WLC) is part of the WorkLife Team, providing education about community resources, needs assessments, and referrals for various customer needs including childcare, elder/adult care, and basic needs. The WLC offers consultation and informational services to members and plan sponsors, handling requests related to emergency financial aid, housing, childcare, elder care, and health needs.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Assess resource needs, propose options, and research/screen community service providers.
  2. Provide resource referrals and educate individuals on resource utilization for various life and work situations.
  3. Document member interactions and research in the system accurately.
  4. Work in an inbound and outbound call center environment, including outbound calls and research.
  5. Handle administrative or customer service calls as needed.
  6. Participate in staffing an online chat platform as required.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience educating individuals/families on community resources and making referrals.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with elderly or adults with disabilities, including needs assessments and referrals.
  • At least 1 year of experience in social work, social services, case management, or related fields.
  • Experience conducting resource needs assessments (eldercare, housing, childcare, etc.).
  • Reliable internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload, wired connection preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish speaking ability.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related health/social services field required.
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
Additional Details

Weekly hours: 40

Time type: Full time

Pay range: $21.10 - $44.99 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
