Position Summary

Fully Remote ANYWHERE within the continental U.S.

Training hours: 9 - 5:30 EST or CST

Work hours after training: 10 - 6:30 pm EST

Role Description

The WorkLife Consultant (WLC) is part of the WorkLife Team, providing education about community resources, needs assessments, and referrals for various needs including childcare, elder/adult care, and basic needs. The WLC offers consultation and informational services to members and plan sponsors, primarily addressing emergency financial, housing, childcare, elder care, and health-related needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess resource needs, propose options, and research potential community service providers.
  2. Provide resource referrals and educate individuals on resource utilization for various life and work situations.
  3. Document member interactions and research outcomes accurately in the system.
  4. Work in an inbound and outbound call center environment, including outbound calls and research.
  5. Handle administrative or customer service calls as needed.
  6. Participate in staffing an online chat platform as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience educating individuals/families on community resources and making referrals.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with elderly or adults with disabilities, including needs assessments and referrals.
  • At least 1 year in social work, social services, or related fields involving intake, assessments, and resource referrals.
  • Experience conducting resource needs assessments (e.g., eldercare, housing, childcare).
  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload), wired connection preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with diverse populations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related health/social field required.
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
Additional Details

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Time type: Full-time

Pay range: $21.10 - $44.99 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
