Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain appropriate pre-certification and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients.
• Discuss patient instructions for procedures to ensure understanding.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and provide instructions by phone and mail.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, and online paging systems to retrieve information from hospital systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA.
