Responsibilities

• Schedule follow-up/return visits for patients.
• Obtain pre-certification and pre-authorization as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients.
• Discuss procedure instructions with patients for clarity.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and issue follow-up instructions.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, and hospital paging systems to retrieve information.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times and exhibit friendly, helpful behavior.
• Other duties as assigned.
