DOCS Dermatology Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will answer calls, greet visitors, collect insurance information, and enter data into our EHR system with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to learn center tasks, support physicians, and maintain a professional, organized front desk environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phone system.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in/out and collecting insurance data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments by phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patient support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy front desk environment.
