Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, answer multi-line phones, collect insurance information, and perform data entry in EHR systems. You will support management and physicians and ensure a smooth patient flow in a busy dermatology practice.

This position emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate data handling, and teamwork to maintain a welcoming environment for patients and visitors across multiple brands and locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
