Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our front desk and to manage multi-line phones with professionalism. You will sign patients in and out, collect insurance information, and ensure accurate data entry in our EHR system.

In this role you will schedule appointments, collect balances, and provide patients with guidance while upholding a safe, secure, and efficient office environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
