Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support and ensure a welcoming patient experience. You will greet and register patients, collect and verify insurance information, and input data into the system, while maintaining a compassionate, customer-focused environment.

The role involves assisting with back-office tasks, handling phone inquiries, and staying current with insurance changes to support smooth patient flow and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR license/certification required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance processes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information accurately at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deductibles, or Self-Pay amounts as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance plans and coverage limits.
• Coordinate medical records and assist with back-office tasks as needed.
• Support training and maintain compliance with company policies.
