Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide frontline administrative support, welcome and register patients, verify insurance, and maintain a friendly and efficient reception area. You will interact with patients and clinical staff, ensure accurate data entry, and support back-office tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of insurance processes, with CPR certification preferred and ongoing compliance training.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR certification preferred and may be required within 7 days of hire.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred; hospital/clinic environment a plus.
• Ability to register patients, collect demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic PC skills.

Aufgaben

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of customer service.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information at registration.
• Handle basic front-office duties including phone etiquette and patient flow communication.
• Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.
• Assist with back-office clerical tasks and cross-train as needed to support clinic operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and support team with patient navigation.
