Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative and patient-facing support in a busy clinic. You will register patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and verify coverage while ensuring a welcoming, courteous environment for every visitor.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 1 year of customer service experience; opportunities exist to cross-train on back-office tasks. MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with CPR certification and at least 1 year of customer service experience.
Level 2/3 require CPR and 3 years of billing/coding or related experience.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

greet, register, and discharge patients with excellent service.
input patient demographics and insurance at registration accurately.
verify and update insurance information; stay current on government and commercial plans.
handle front-desk tasks and cross-train for back-office duties as needed.
maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area; support team with clinic processes.
