Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Roseville outpatient center. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through the visit process, coordinating appointments and information for each patient’s care pathway.

The role is full-time and based at the Roseville location, with responsibilities including scheduling, payment collection, and insurance verification to support seamless patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Insurance verification experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 5131 Foothills Blvd Ste 5, Roseville, CA 95747

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday (9am-5:30/6pm)

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Insurance Verification Experience
