Job summary

Select Medical in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register, and support patients at the front desk in our outpatient physical therapy centers. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, compensation of $22.00–$23.00 per hour, and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and a company 401(k).

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation:$22.00 - $23.00/hour
