Job summary

Select Medical in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Patient Service Specialist. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with schedule variability and starts at $15.00/hour (experience dependent). You’ll greet patients, register them, schedule visits, and handle payment collection and insurance verifications at the outpatient physical therapy center.

The position emphasizes excellent patient experience, teamwork, and accurate processing of payer information to support smooth operations and care delivery.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED completed.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide visit information at checkout.

• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance and translation services, and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
