Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Glen Allen, VA to manage front desk duties, schedule appointments, and coordinate between patients and insurance providers. This full-time role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in through checkout.

The position offers a Monday-Wednesday-Friday 8am-4:30pm schedule with Tuesday-Thursday 9:30am-6:30pm, and a compensation range of $18-$19 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience.
• Insurance verification experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Experience
• Previous Therapy Experience
• 1 Year of OP Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
