Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Suffolk, VA outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet and register patients, explain visit steps, and help patients understand their next appointment as they check out.

The role focuses on timely scheduling, accurate insurance verification, and smooth co-pay collection. The position offers full-time hours (Mon-Thu 7am-4:30pm; Fri 7am-11am) with competitive hourly pay and benefits, and room for growth within a nationwide provider

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Suffolk, VA

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule: Monday through Thursday (7am to 4:30pm) & Fridays (7am to 11am)

Compensation: $17-$19/hour - (Pending experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

• Health Care Experience
• Previous Therapy Experience
• 1 Year of OP Experience
