Select Medical in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to run the front desk at our outpatient physical therapy center. You’ll greet patients, schedule visits, collect co-pays and coordinate with insurers to verify benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visit expectations and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate communications with attorneys, insurance companies, and translation services, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Compensation: $19-$22/hour - (Pending experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Experience
• Previous Therapy Experience
• 1 Year of OP Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
