Job summary

Select Medical in Arlington, VA seeks a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk tasks and the administrative side of patient care. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointments, working with insurers and external partners to smooth the patient flow.

This full-time role offers a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule (6:30am–3pm) and Tuesday/Thursday (10:30am–7pm). A supportive team and comprehensive benefits await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Insurance Verification Experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year of Medical Office Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys’ offices, insurance companies and translation services; coordinate with operations and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday (6:30am to 3pm) & Tuesday/Thursday (10:30am to 7pm)

Compensation: $18-$22/hour - (Pending experience)
