Job summary

Select Medical in Cleveland Heights is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our outpatient physical therapy center. This full-time front desk role will handle patient check-ins, scheduling, and front-office tasks at 5 Severance Circle, OH 44118.

The position pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour and requires Monday–Friday with 3 evenings until 7pm. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, and a company-matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visits and next appointments at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorney offices, insurers, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year Front Desk experience

Preferred:

• Healthcare experience
