US Foot & Ankle Specialists is hiring a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy healthcare team in Maryland. You will be the first point of contact, contributing to a positive patient experience and supporting daily medical office operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance, and processing payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of administrative support experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, CPT/ICD coding, and pre-authorization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and address questions.
• Answer calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Schedule appointments and manage multiple provider calendars.
• Register new patients and update demographics and financial information.
• Maintain patient records through data entry, faxing and scanning.
• Collect payments incl. deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.
