US Foot and Ankle Specialists is seeking a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy Maryland medical office. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients and supporting day-to-day operations while upholding HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, patient registration, billing support, and coordinating with providers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of administrative support experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, CPT/ICD coding preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office.
• HIPAA confidentiality and discretion.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients upon arrival and address questions.
• Answer calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Register patients and update demographics and financial information.
• Facilitate patient flow and communicate updates to patients and staff.
• Maintain patient records through data entry, faxing, and scanning.
• Collect payments including deductibles and copays.
• Review billing claims and denials; gather required information.
