U.S. Foot and Ankle Specialists is seeking a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy healthcare team in Rockville, MD. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a positive patient experience while supporting daily office operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of medical administrative experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Some travel between local offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years medical admin experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes incl. pre-authorization & verification; CPT/ICD-10 knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Willingness to travel between local offices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and address questions and concerns.
• Answer calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Register patients and update demographics/financial info.
• Handle payments and update accounts receivable/payable.
• Review billing claims and assist with denials as needed.
• Maintain patient records via data entry, faxing, and scanning.
• Collaborate with team to support office operations.
