US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact, creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily operations in a busy healthcare setting.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, manage payments, and assist with records and communications across the office. This role requires strong organizational skills and a patient-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative support experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, including pre-authorization and insurance verification.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and address questions and concerns.
• Answer incoming calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages as needed.
• Schedule appointments and manage multiple provider calendars.
• Register new patients and update demographics and financial information.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and updates.
• Maintain patient records through data entry, faxing, and scanning.
• Collect payments including deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.
