Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at a primary care site. The MA will work closely with a physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, covering both clinical and front-desk duties.

Requirements include graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification at start date, and 1+ year of experience in primary care. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam areas are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist with procedures; coordinate with labs.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, documentation, referrals, and coordinating care outside the clinic.
• Record data accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Participates in outreach to engage patients.
