Job summary

Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care care team. The role combines clinical responsibilities with front-desk duties, supporting a provider and delivering an exceptional guest experience to patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where state rules apply.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms; ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, assist with procedures; coordinate with labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Assist with front desk tasks: scheduling, medical records requests, and referrals.
• Document patient data accurately and communicate results via e-message, mail, or phone.
