Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a comprehensive care setting. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

The role requires at least 1 year in primary care, completion of an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification at start. Phlebotomy experience is preferred; onsite responsibilities include patient check-in/out and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; coordinate with labs for tests.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by Providers.
• Front desk tasks: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and care coordination.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
