Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician, performing vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and front-desk duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred.
• MA certification/registration required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for tests and communicate results to patients.
• Perform front-desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data accurately in medical records per guidelines.
• Support care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
