Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a friendly guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, formal MA program graduation, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience. Benefits include competitive health plans, PTO, and scrub cost coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in Primary Care preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, prep exam rooms and assist with procedures.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and support provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and care coordination.
