Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in supporting primary care physicians and delivering high-quality patient care. The MA will act as both receptionist and clinician, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.

The role requires graduation from an MA program, MA certification or registration where applicable, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year in a primary care setting. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where certification is mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Record data in the medical chart according to guidelines.
