Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our on-site care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience, serving as both receptionist and clinical support.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, MA program completion, CPR/BLS, and optional phlebotomy experience to enhance care delivery. Benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive health offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist procedures.
• Process tests and communicate results to patients as directed.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Maintain supplies and assist with patient plan of care.
