Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will work closely with a physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, performing both clinical and front-desk responsibilities to support the care team.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of MA experience, MA certification/registration, CPR/BLS, and preferred phlebotomy skills. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date or per state requirements.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document and abstract medical records; communicate results to patients.
