Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in a primary care setting. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a seamless guest experience, performing both clinical and front-desk duties.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
National or state MA certification or registration strongly preferred. Certification/registration required where applicable.
CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to rooms; ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
Review patient information and gather updated health data for the provider.
Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals and care coordination.
Document data in medical records per guidelines; process test results and communicate results to patients.
Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement; maintain supplies and equipment.
