Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to provide exceptional patient care and a seamless guest experience, performing clinical and reception duties within our care model.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year MA experience, formal MA training, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care preferred.
• Formal Medical Assistant program graduate.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Greet and gather updated health information to inform physician.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections; assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for tests and communicate results to patients.
