Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and create an exceptional guest experience.

The role blends clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities, supporting the full patient journey from check-in to care delivery. The position requires at least 1 year of MA experience, MA program graduate, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred/required in some states
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and maintain exam rooms
• Take vitals, draw blood, assist with procedures
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as directed
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals
• Document data in medical records per guidelines
• Manage test results and communicate to patients
• Support outreach to engage patients and coordinate care
