Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA works closely with a PCP to deliver high-quality patient care and an excellent guest experience, serving as both a medical assistant and reception functions.

The role covers patient intake, vitals, injections, phlebotomy, immunizations, and coordination of referrals. A formal MA program graduate with CPR/BLS is preferred, with state certification where required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations under physician order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Process test results and communicate with patients via e-message, mail, or phone.
