Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a comprehensive primary care model. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience, serving both clinical and front-desk duties as needed.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of an MA program, and current CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred/required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to rooms and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and support with labs.
• Administers medications and immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
