Job summary

Marathon Health in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a positive guest experience, handling front desk duties and clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; CPR/BLS required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations per provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
