Job summary

Marathon Health in Florida is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team and support a primary care physician. Deliver excellent patient care and ensure a welcoming guest experience throughout the patient journey.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, coordinate with labs and front desk tasks, and help maintain accurate medical records. The role requires MA training, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of experience; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, record requests, and referrals.
• Document data in the medical record and share results with patients as directed.
• Support care team to develop patient plans and address gaps in care.
