Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• MA certification or registration is required for certain states.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections and assist with procedures.
• Record accurate and pertinent data in the medical record.

Skills

Medical Assistant experience

Phlebotomy experience

Education

Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program

National or state-specific MA certification
