Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop aerospace/mechanical systems for a major defense program. You will create CAD models using Siemens NX, perform analyses, and support the product lifecycle from design through testing.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance. A strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree with 1+ year of related experience is acceptable for higher-level roles.
• Experience with CAD modeling (Siemens NX preferred).
• Familiarity with GD&T, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a mechanical designer for mechanical systems on a major defense program.
• Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical/aerospace products for aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and related ground equipment.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs through modeling, simulations, and test data analyses.
• Support all lifecycle phases: design, drawings, fabrication, test, installation, operation and maintenance.
• Prepare reports and interface with customers.
